[Internship Opportunity with the Green Cities Unit]
We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the headquarters in Seoul to support the unit to implement green growth to in the waste program portfolio of Green Cities. The intern is expected to synthesize knowledge outputs, prepare documents, carry out research and analysis of policy documents, attend meetings and carry out any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the team. The successful candidate would be proactive, well versed with MS Office and is expected to have fluent written and spoken English skills. The internship will be in Seoul, subject to the restrictions placed by COVID-19.
The assignment will include the following but not limited to:
- Assist in research on topics such as sustainable development and climate change in the waste sector in urban areas in GGGI’s member countries
- Analyze and summarize research into reports. Help prepare power points documents, training modules, policy analyses and other analytical products as required.
- Support an in-depth review of government policies as and when required.
- Assist coordination of ongoing initiatives, e.g. organizing online and offline meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and organizing and or cleaning data.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for an internship, candidates must:
• Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s (final year), Master’s or PhD program prior to internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months.
• Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field directly related to the Institute’s work
• Possess an excellent command of English.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be eligible for an internship, candidates must:
